Summer Reading Challenge 2026 Summer Reading Challenge, “Read to the Beat”, partners with Universal Music Group UK to celebrate the connection between books and music. Aimed at children from 4 to 11, free programme encorages reading 6 books over the summer to earn rewards, launching on 4 July and ending 19 September.
